Women's Distance Festival 5K Run/Walk

Women only! The RRCA created the Women's Distance Festival series in 1980. The first events were held on July 30th to coincide with the men's marathon at the Moscow Olympics. The purpose was to draw attention to the difference in running events for men and women at the Olympics. Many local events are still held across the country to remind us of how far the sport has come in the ensuing years. This is the 46th annual Toledo Roadrunner's running of this event.
