Join us for the Salt and Sound 10k, 5k and 1-mile Fun-Run , at the Currituck County Rural Center on Saturday, September 19th . Experience the area's waterfowl, wetland and the neighboring horses. This unique race will bring you along water thoroughfares, on boardwalks and straightaways to the edge of the Currituck Sound. The courses are scenic but not the fastest because you will be on multiple surfaces. Each event will be well marked with chip timing, water stations and the parks permanent restrooms.
