For the past 11 years, Lynchburg Road Runners Club and Type 1 Diabetes Experience (T1DE) have hosted this race to provide support for local families living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. It has become a great community and family event. This year the Memorial Day 10k will be hosted by Community Access Network (CAN). While T1DE is dissolving, Community Access Network, already an area leader in diabetes education and management, will provide for continued support for T1 families in our community.
