The Shore A.C. Lester Wright Jr. Youth Cross Country Series is a dedicated youth racing program held at the scenic Holmdel Park in New Jersey. This series offers a variety of distances tailored to age groups, ranging from a 400M dash for the youngest runners to a 4K/5K challenge for middle schoolers. The course features a start line near the main shelter and a finish line in the adjacent field, providing a classic cross-country atmosphere. Participants can compete weekly throughout the fall, culminating in a Championship Sunday that includes a picnic and awards ceremony. It is an excellent opportunity for young athletes to develop their skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
