Kennekuk Road Runners - Members Only Meet The Backpack

Saturday, November 28, 2026Westville, IL11 Miles

Experience one of the most challenging trail runs in the Midwest at the Kennekuk Members Only event. This rugged course features stunning natural beauty, demanding terrain, and a significant stair climb that sets it apart from other local trails. Runners should be prepared for muddy conditions and technical sections that define a true trail running adventure. Due to the difficulty and remote nature of the trail, first-timers are strictly prohibited from running alone. The event concludes with a community potluck party at the Maple Grove Lodge, celebrating the grit and spirit of the KRR trail running family.
