The Indian Creek Trail Runs, known as the annual “Fall Classic,” stands as the oldest official race in the Human Potential Running Series. This event showcases the diverse beauty of the Front Range, guiding runners through lodgepole pine forests, sprawling aspen groves, and the striking red rock formations characteristic of the region. As you navigate the single-track trails, you will experience the vibrant autumn transformation of Colorado’s landscape, featuring golden aspens and amber prairie grasses. Despite the rugged wilderness feel, the course offers surprising proximity to the Denver Metro area, providing unique viewpoints that overlook the city skyline. Along the way, keep an eye out for glimpses of iconic 14ers towering in the distance. It is a quintessential Colorado trail experience that balances challenging terrain with breathtaking natural scenery.
