Ice Breaker 8K Run/Walk

Saturday, January 30, 2027Piedmont, SC8K

The Ice Breaker 8K returns to Lakeside Park in Piedmont, SC, for its fifth annual edition. This trail race offers a welcoming environment for runners, walkers, and hikers of all levels, including those accompanied by leashed furry friends. The course winds through the woods on the 'Every Minute' and 'All Day, Baby' trails, featuring a mix of switchbacks, turns, and gradual inclines. Designed to be beginner-friendly with minimal roots, the route provides enough undulations to keep advanced runners engaged as they test their speed. Participants will enjoy a unique layout that passes a central aid station hub twice before heading to the finish line. It is the perfect way to warm up your early season schedule with a fun, community-focused trail experience.
