The White Mills Community is home to the ever-growing and Historic White Mills Christian Camp, which started in June 1940 as a “camper” week at the old White Mills hotel, where 37 campers were in attendance for the first-ever full week of camp. In March 1949, the White Mills Christian Assembly formed and purchased the old hotel, where eventually they would add dorms and hire a camp manager.
