A 10-week program to help you comfortably progress to a healthy habit of walking, jogging, or running at a pace that is right for you. First Strides® meets weekly, please come dressed for activity. Our workout program is formatted with: Local experts offering short fitness and wellness presentations on topics ranging from nutrition to what to wear to injury prevention Gentle warm-up exercises Group walk/run (determined by pace) Post-work out stretch and do a group walk/run Tips, techniques, and guidance from group mentors Women from ages 12 to 112 are welcome to attend.
