Join us for the 13th annual Chicagoland SCADaddle to raise money for much-needed SCAD research. Participants are invited to participate in the 5K walk/run at their own pace on the trails through the Danada Forest Preserve. Our Cause Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little known and poorly understood type of heart attack. SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms. Most patients are younger healthy women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease.
