Kick off your holiday season with the Black Toenail Friday Half Marathon and 7.5 Mile race, a beloved post-Thanksgiving tradition in Southeast Michigan. Held at the scenic Proud Lake Recreation Area, this event features well-marked, beginner-friendly wooded trails that wind through forests and past lakes. With a late 11:00 AM start time, you can enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner and sleep in before heading to the trails for a day of movement and community. The course offers a mix of smooth terrain and rolling hills, perfect for runners and ruckers alike. After crossing the finish line, celebrate your achievement with campfires, hot cocoa, and warm ramen. As the final event in the Trivium Michigan Mega Medal Series, it is the perfect opportunity to complete your six-part puzzle medal.
