Join the fun at the 9th Annual Run with the Govs Saturday, June 13, 2026 on a 3.5-mile trail that winds through the heart of South Dakota's capital city. The route features bronze statues of all former governors. Race through to see the highlights or stroll along the route to enjoy the artistry and stories of the state's legendary leaders. This year's featured leader is the 9th Governor of South Dakota, Peter Norbeck, who served as Governor from 1917-1921. Governor Norbeck was an avid sportsman.
