Zombie Fun Run 5k & 1mile
Saturday, October 31, 2026Idaho Springs, CO1 Miles – 5K
Get ready to creep, crawl, and cackle through the Idaho Springs Cemetery in this spirited Halloween-themed event. Whether you choose the 5K or the 1-mile loop, you will encounter spooky surprises and plenty of candy along the course. Runners are highly encouraged to embrace the theme with creative costumes, from zombies to aliens or even bananas. The event welcomes friendly, leashed dogs to join the fun, with extra applause for matching undead duos. It is a lighthearted community gathering where the focus is on festive fun rather than strict race precision. Come prepared to sprint for your life or shuffle like a ghost in this unique Colorado autumn tradition.
