Two Harbors Trail Alliance Trail Turkey Trot

🦃 Kick off your Thanksgiving with a 5K on the trails! The Two Harbors Trail Alliance Turkey Trot starts at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 26 at the Erkki Harju Ski Trails on Fairgrounds Rd. Runners, walkers, families, and dogs on leash are all welcome. Come to race or just to enjoy a holiday morning outside with your neighbors. 📍 Location & parking: Park in the big lot across from the Lake County Fairgrounds on Fairgrounds Rd. Check-in, the start/finish, and the post-race gathering are all right at the trailhead. You'll be on the same trails where Two Harbors High School's cross-country ski team trains and competes every winter. 🌧️☀️❄️ Rain, shine, or snow, this is an all-weather event! Late November on the North Shore can bring anything from frosty sunshine to a fresh blanket of snow, so dress in layers and wear shoes with good traction. Bright or blaze-orange clothing is encouraged, since the event falls during hunting season. Entry is donation-based. Give whatever amount feels right to you. Every dollar supports local trails. After the race: - 🥧 Pie and hot beverages - 🔥 Gather around the bonfire to warm up - 🏅 Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers - 🎟️ Raffle drawing with prizes donated by local businesses Must be present to win awards and raffle prizes.
