Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center is a nonprofit organization co-founded by Tom LaMonica in 1981. Tom was a teacher and coach at Friends School of Baltimore and passionately served as our leader until his passing in September 2010. This 5K trail run is a memorial to one of our founders and we are also celebrating our 45th year! Tom helped build Genesee Valley to provide a space for groups to become better teammates and classmates through physical challenges.
