The Ugly Sweater 5k

Sunday, December 6, 2026Shelby Township, MI5K – 10K

The Ugly Sweater 5K is a festive, community-focused event dedicated to fighting hunger during the holiday season. Participants can choose between an in-person, professionally timed race or a flexible virtual option that allows you to run or walk anywhere. Every registration supports the Greater Lansing Food Bank and Feeding America, making your miles count toward a meaningful cause. Runners are encouraged to embrace the holiday spirit by wearing their best ugly sweaters, with top photos featured on the event page. After crossing the finish line, participants can warm up with hot coffee, cocoa, and cookies. Whether you are a competitive runner or a casual walker, this event offers a fun way to give back to the community.
