The Triple C is an annual trail race held in memory of Curtis Colt Childress, celebrating his life through the trails he loved. Runners can choose from 10-mile, 4-mile, or 1-mile distances, each offering a unique journey through the scenic landscape of Woolly Hollow State Park. The courses feature a mix of wooded trails, paved sections, and gravel paths, with highlights including a waterfall and lake views. This event is perfect for beginner trail runners, those chasing a PR, or anyone looking for a meaningful training run. All proceeds support the Cabugcayan Mission/Biliran Church of Christ in the Philippines, honoring Curtis's legacy of kindness and community. Participants are encouraged to embrace the park's leave-no-trace philosophy while enjoying a day of nature and camaraderie.
