The Shimmy in Shickshinny 1/2 and 1/4 Marathon is BACK for 2026! This flat, fast, and shaded course is PERFECT for a mid-summer half-marathon! The Shimmy in Shickshinny follows the hard-packed Susquehanna Warrior Trail as it runs along the west bank of the Susquehanna River in Luzerne County, PA. The out-and-back route has a total elevation gain/loss of 11 feet and 90% of the trail is shaded. *NOTE* THIS IS OUR LARGEST SHIMMY YET, SO WE HAVE DECIDED TO SEPARATE THE START OF EACH EVENT.
