The Race before The Game

Saturday, November 28, 2026Sandusky, OH5 Miles

Celebrate the legendary Ohio State versus Michigan rivalry with this unique 10th annual event in downtown Sandusky. Runners can choose between the 5-mile 'Dot the i' course or the 4-mile 'Block the M' route, both designed to trace iconic shapes through the city's distinctive street grid. For those looking to share the experience, a two-person relay option allows participants to split the Script Ohio course. A one-mile 'Big O' walk is also available for a shorter, festive challenge. Participants are reminded to use sidewalks and follow all traffic laws as they navigate the city streets. This event is the perfect way to kick off game day with school spirit and community fun.
