The Pat Campbell Fighting Cancer 5K is a vibrant, faith-filled event held annually during St. Patrick's Day weekend. Known as one of the flattest and fastest courses in the region, the route follows the scenic Ohio River. This USATF-certified race serves as the primary fundraiser for The Ohio Valley Fighting Cancer Fund, supporting families currently battling cancer. Participants are encouraged to wear their best green outfits and kilts to celebrate the event's 17th anniversary. The race day experience is packed with community spirit, featuring a live National Anthem, color guard, music, and an Irish Blessings raffle. It also serves as the first leg of the Gem City Quadfecta Challenge in Toronto, Ohio.
