The Mount Hood Nutcracker Challenge

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Mount Hood Nutcracker Challenge, a unique 3.5-mile cross-country race held in the Greater Boston area. This festive December event features a course that changes every year, ensuring a fresh and challenging experience for all participants. Runners can test their mettle on the hilly terrain of the Mount Hood Golf Club, either as individuals or as part of a vigorous team competition. For those seeking a more relaxed pace, a non-competitive 2-mile walk is also available. After the race, enjoy the famous post-race pasta lunch hosted at the Melrose Fish & Game Club.
