Embrace your inner ghoul at the 5th Annual Rocky Horror Trail Run, a spooktacular event held in San Antonio's Eisenhower Park just before Halloween. This challenging race features a 3.3-mile looped course that tests your endurance with 400 feet of elevation gain per loop, filled with natural rocky trails and roots. Runners can choose their own adventure, ranging from a single 5K loop to a grueling 53K "Time Warp" challenge of ten loops. The course winds through the scenic Hillview, Shady Creek, Red Oak, and Live Oak trail systems, offering a rugged experience for trail enthusiasts. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with special awards reserved for the best spooktacular outfits. With a cap of 350 runners, this event promises an intimate, high-energy atmosphere complete with a live DJ and post-race refreshments.
