The River Driver 50 Miler returns for its second year in Lincoln, Maine, offering a flat and fast out-and-back course suitable for runners of all abilities. Participants set off at an early 4:30 AM start, heading south on Route 2 toward Greenbush and returning. Runners are treated to an impressive post-race spread featuring burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, whoopie pies, and fluffernutter at Prince Thomas Park. After crossing the finish line, athletes can even take a refreshing cool dip in the nearby lake. The event shares its race day atmosphere with the Lincoln Marathon and shorter distance races.
