The 14th Annual BRA Run is a unique community event held on a fully paved course right next to the sand in Playa Del Rey. This race features the distinctive 13K distance, chosen to represent the 1 in 8 risk of breast cancer, alongside a standard 5K. Participants are encouraged to wear decorated bras or creative costumes to celebrate Breast Reconstruction Awareness. The event serves as the primary fundraiser for Evelyn’s BFF, a non-profit supporting breast cancer survivors with reconstruction and counseling costs. Runners can also participate in the Beach to City Challenge by completing both this race and the Screenland 5K to earn a special Greta Garbo medal. It is a festive, mission-driven morning that combines fitness with meaningful advocacy.
