Pound the Pavement returns for its 14th annual edition as a vibrant, high-energy 5K Color Fun Run and Walk. Participants begin in white and finish covered in a rainbow of powder, with a new color burst at every kilometer mark. This year features an expanded route and the new Junior “Mad Dash of Color” for children ages 8 and under. Beyond the run, the celebration continues at Sea Dog with music, photo opportunities, and complimentary beverages for participants. The event serves as a powerful community fundraiser for the Purple Iris Foundation, specifically supporting individuals in Maine affected by cancer. Cancer survivors are invited to participate in this uplifting event free of charge.
