Northwood Run with the Wolves 5k

Come run like the Timberwolves in our third annual Alumni and Friends 5k Race/Walk! If a visit to Midland is on your list, this Fall will be one of the very best times to do it! Come walk or race with us along some of our team's favorite training routes, see all the leaves changing in "The Wood," and visit with current team members, staff, and alumni. Do I Have to Run? We have had plenty of supporters and family members who walk/push strollers on the route, as well as alumni and athletes who run. Whichever is your cup of tea, we will be there to cheer you on! The race is about half paved, and half gravel road. Where/When? Saturday, October 31st, 2026 Check In: 8-8:45am @ the Bennett Sports Center Gun Time: 9:00am Northwood University (4000 Whiting Dr. Midland, Michigan) Pere Marquette Rail Trail, Sugnet Rd., Dublin Rd., and Tittabawassee River Rd. Parking There should be plenty of parking available on campus in lot P1 or P2 in front of the Bennett Sports Center. You can also use the Herbert H. Doan Building or park along the south side of Tittabawassee River Road. What's Included? Free Northwood XC/TF t-shirt with your entry fee (limited quantities available).
