Mountaineer 5K

Saturday, March 20, 2027Chandler, AZ5K

The Mountaineer 5k is a community-focused event hosted by the Summit Academy Parent Teacher Organization to promote health and wellness. The course begins at the Summit Academy Junior High track, transitions onto a canal path for the majority of the route, and concludes back at the track. Participants of all levels are welcome, including walkers and those with strollers. A standout feature of this race is the unique, custom-made awards crafted by students from the Dobson High School Ceramics Department. The event concludes with a finish line festival featuring food and drinks for all runners. It is a great opportunity to support local students while enjoying a flat, accessible course.
