MCRRC Stone Mill 50 Mile Run

Saturday, November 7, 2026Montgomery Village, MD50M

The MCRRC Stone Mill 50 Mile Run invites endurance athletes to experience the scenic beauty of Montgomery County, Maryland. This challenging 50-mile journey winds through the forested landscapes of the Seneca Greenway and Muddy Branch trails. Runners will navigate rolling terrain primarily on single-track dirt paths, featuring occasional stream crossings that add to the adventure. While the course generally drains well, participants should be prepared for muddy conditions if the weather turns wet. A unique aspect of this event is the community-focused volunteer requirement, asking runners to contribute six hours of service to local running clubs or non-profit organizations. It is a true test of grit and community spirit set against a lush, natural backdrop.
