Massanutten Monster 5K

The Massanutten Monster is not your average 5K. Starting at the base of Massanutten Resort, this beast sends you climbing, grinding, and questioning your life choices all the way toward the top gaining over 1000 feet of elevation before turning you loose to bomb your way back down to the finish. It’s short. It’s steep. And it’s going to hurt. Think you can tame the Monster? The fastest male and female racers will each take home $200 cash—and in future races, an additional bounty will be added for anyone brave enough to steal the course record. One mountain. One Monster. 5K. Up and down. Come see what you’ve got. This is the course route marked in blue: https://caltopo.com/p/7J7C7
