In December of 2021, Captain Andrew Allman was suddenly and abruptly diagnosed with stage four gastric adenocarcinoma, a cancer attributed to his exposure to burn pits from his deployment with the U.S. Army to Baghdad, Iraq eleven years prior. Andrew valiantly fought this aggressive cancer for seven months. Unfortunately, on Father’s Day, June 19 of 2022, he passed away, leaving behind his wife of almost fourteen years, Sarah, and their three school-aged children.
