LavaKids Aquathonn & Keiki Dash

The LavaKids Aquathon is a vibrant swim-run event held in the protected waters of the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resort. Designed specifically for young athletes, the event offers a variety of distances tailored to different age groups, ranging from a 100-meter swim and 1k run for ages 7-10 to a 200-meter swim and 2k run for ages 11-14. Younger children can also participate in the Keiki Dash, a fun 1k run for those aged 6 and under. Beyond the competition, the event serves a meaningful purpose as a 501c3 nonprofit initiative. All proceeds from the race are dedicated to supporting youth development in sports across the local communities of Hawaii Island. It is a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a day of active fun while contributing to a great cause.
