Runners will navigate a 4-mile loop that transitions from historic double-track farm trails—rumored to be old moonshine roads—to technical single-track hiking paths and the newly developed Aviation Trail. The course winds through Winkler Park and features a memorable passage directly through the Hickory Crawdad’s stadium. With over 15,500 feet of total elevation gain, participants will face short, steep climbs and two significant ascents per lap. The route is a mix of 70% trail and 30% paved surfaces, featuring natural obstacles like roots and rocks. Designed for both soloists and teams of up to 10, this event offers a true test of strategy and grit around the clock.
