The Farmers 5000 is a historic community tradition, standing as one of the first school-based 5K fundraisers in Colorado. Since 1981, this event has brought together serious racers and casual weekend warriors for a morning of fitness and school spirit. The course begins and ends directly in front of Wheat Ridge High School, winding through the surrounding neighborhoods to create a classic community atmosphere. By participating, runners directly support educational and special programs within the school.
