Kick off your training with the Deam Lake Winter Warrior, the first event in a four-part series designed to keep you motivated through the colder months. This race features a scenic loop around Deam Lake, offering participants the choice of a 6-mile, 12-mile, or 4-hour endurance challenge. The course utilizes the Yellow Trail, a shared-use path that winds through beautiful natural surroundings. Runners should be prepared for a cupless event and must carry their own hydration gear. With a focus on community and endurance, participants can earn special series status by completing three of the four Winter Warrior races. Please note that the trail is shared with horses, so runners are asked to approach riders with caution and respect.
