Welcome to the DC Half Marathon & 5K weekend! New for 2026 , the 5K will take place on Saturday, September 19, at 8AM . The Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 20, at 7AM. We are also introducing the District Challenge , the opportunity to run both distances over the weekend. District Challenge athletes earn ‘The DC’ special medal.
