The Deer Run 8K returns for its fifth year at the scenic Timber Pointe Nature Center, serving as the exciting season finale for the Lake Run Club. Runners will navigate a diverse course featuring a 50/50 mix of paved trails, wide double track, and technical single-track sections. Participants can choose between a single 8K loop or a 3-hour challenge that allows for multiple laps before the main event start. The course offers a true cross-country experience, winding through natural terrain where sightings of deer, wild turkeys, and bald eagles are possible. After crossing the finish line, runners can enjoy refreshments inside the cozy Stern Lodge. This event is designed to be run in any weather, embracing the elements for a memorable end-of-season celebration.
