Candy Cane Dash
Saturday, December 5, 2026Frederick, MD1K – 5K
Experience the festive spirit at the annual Candy Cane Dash, a beautiful 5K run held in Frederick, Maryland's scenic Baker Park. Taking place on the first Saturday of December, this high-energy event invites runners of all levels to compete or participate in fun, safe costumes. The race serves as a meaningful fundraiser for Girls on the Run of Mid and Western Maryland, a program dedicated to empowering girls in grades 3-8. Participants can also look forward to a special connection with the Gingerbread Dash in Hagerstown, which features unique linking medals for those who complete both events. It is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season while supporting youth development and community health.
