The Angry Bear Fun Run & 5K is a festive, family-oriented winter celebration held to support the Jackson High School Baseball team. Participants can enjoy a scenic 5K course decorated with inflatables and holiday cheer, or younger runners can join the untimed 1-mile Fun Run. The event features a variety of winter-themed activities, including snowball games, music, and a special visit from Santa. Runners are encouraged to dress in their best holiday gear to compete in the costume contest, with categories for the funniest and most festive outfits. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy a variety of concessions ranging from pizza and hot dogs to hot cocoa and holiday-themed treats. It is a perfect way to combine community spirit with a fun, active winter evening.
