Saturday, October 24, 2026Valrico, FL5K
Join the community for the Sixth Annual Black Cat 5K Fun Run & Walk, a festive event dedicated to supporting A Kitten Place Rescue. Participants can choose between an untimed 5K run or a relaxed one-mile walk set against the scenic backdrop of the Twin Lakes neighborhood. The event features a lively atmosphere with music, refreshments, and a silent auction to keep the energy high. A standout highlight is the crowd-favorite costume contest, adding a fun, seasonal flair to the morning. Runners and walkers are also encouraged to participate in the cat litter and toy drive to help local kittens in need. It is a perfect way to enjoy a morning outdoors while contributing to a meaningful cause.
