The 48th Annual Lone Star Stampede is a cherished Houston tradition that brings together runners, walkers, and University of Texas alumni for a day of community and purpose. This year, the event expands its offerings with the debut of a half marathon alongside the classic 10K, 5K, and Kids Dash. Set within the scenic Brazos River Park, the courses provide a mix of out-and-back and looped routes perfect for all fitness levels. Beyond the race, participants enjoy perks like professional race photos, a unique belt buckle medal, and a commemorative technical shirt. Most importantly, every registration helps fund scholarships for Houston-area students attending The University of Texas at Austin. Join this spirited event to celebrate Longhorn pride while making a tangible impact on the next generation of leaders.
